Be at the Top of Your Game

All of our golf professionals at Blythefield Country Club are available for private lessons. As an instructor, it is important to be able to determine how an individual processes information.  This factor alone is what makes for a great teacher/student relationship. Our instructors will work with you to set goals for your golf game, as well as assist in developing a plan to ensure you are able to reach those goals. For more information on private lessons, please contact Head Golf Professional, Juan Martinez, PGA.

Instruction with Junior Golf

As the premier family club in West Michigan we aim to offer junior programs to all ages and skill levels. Whether your child is just starting to get interested in golf or has been playing and wants to pursue the game more, there is something for them.

For those just starting out, Thursday Jr. golf is a great way to introduce them to the game. Start out the morning with a group clinic on the basic fundamentals of golf. Then take everything you’ve learned and put it to the test on the course with your friends in a group format.

For those that are interested in the world of competitive golf, Arnie’s Army offers more in-depth instruction. Arnie’s Army is for those that want to take their game to the next level and focus on playing in tournaments and scoring. The instruction is more detailed and is for those that have a good grasp on the fundamentals.

PGA Jr. League is a great way for your child to put there skills up against kids from different clubs around Grand Rapids. With normal tournament golf, there is a lot of pressure and every shot counts for something. PGA Jr. League’s 2-person scramble format offers the kids a fun and stress-free way to play competitive golf with their friends and play other courses around the city.”
