The Director of Golf and Club Operations at Blythefield Country Club, Patti Butcher, was recognized as the 2010 LPGA National Golf Professional of the Year. Additionally in 2010, Golf Digest included Patti as one of the 50 Greatest Women Teachers in America. She has been named one of Golf For Women Magazine’s Top 50 Teachers seven times and recognized by her peers twice as LPGA Midwest Teacher of the Year. An accomplished teacher of competitive players, having coached an NCAA National Champion and six Michigan High School Athletic Association State Golf Champions, Patti truly excels in helping golfers of every level “play their own best golf.” All Golf Professionals at Blythefield Country Club are committed to a student-centered model of golf instruction: always intending to grow a golfer from their natural strengths and physical differences and emphasizing the goal of consistently lower scores.
